We passed you in Haines Junction. We were driving north to Anchorage and saw your "advance scout" stop and aim a camera up the road back towards Beaver Creek. At first we thought it might a police radar trap, but then I saw the car and I was flabbergasted. I had seen your write-up in Wired, but had never expected to actually see the car. Best of luck...

Wow! What an impressive and inspiring start you have made! Really enjoying the journey with you, entertaining writing, Alex, and the photos are amazing...(I'm green with envy). All your preparation and 'ground-control' support seems to be paying off. Too bad about the chargers, though - have you now managed to source the parts and do the repairs? We're sitting on the edges of our seats to read the next installment...have you had chance to fit the direction indicator controller yet? Any remote help required? Feel free to call!

Ok. Talk a bit more about the food. I'm really like, pining to hear more about what you guys are eating there. Come on! It's canada! EAT!.

Moose steak. Something. Great detail about the car etc but more uh, more touristicy stuff will make this even more flavorful!

Besides. Scenery isnt scenery unless you gots the food ;-)

Dear RGET ,
please do not stop to tell us about the scenery and all the potholes ,
the weather in which you have to pass with all the rewarding meals in
which you indulge and the fascinating people you meet including the
corresponding history , as it brings the Epic Trip to life on a day
to day basis , while possibly this account could serve later for
anybody who would want to complete a similar voyage .

However , the component failures of the chargers hopefully will
prompt you to exercise closer checks , while you tool up
appropriately at the next opportunity . The road and weather
conditions are starting to prove a challenge for some of the
engineering , which is good , because this trip , presumably
must serve the purpose of establishing the engineering
reliability and will answer some of the endurance questions
of the SRzero .
It will be these mini “ Houston we have a problem ” which
will determine how you bring safely the SRzero “ Apolo 13 ”
with all its crew back to London on “ Earth ” while having
resolved unforeseen challenges .

While we wait with abated breath for the next sequel in
this epic adventure , we wish you all the best from
Ladysmith ( Kwazulu Natal ) in sunny South Africa ,
where people are looking forward for the Final match of
the Soccer World Cup between Netherlands and Spain ,
Charles and friends .
