Hi Rodrigo,

We won't be stopping in Viña del Mar unfortunately. We will be staying in Santiago for a few days though, but i cannot tell you the exact address as one of our sponsors has organised the accommodation and I do not have the address on me right now.

Best,

Alex

Will you pass to Viña del Mar ? (Distance from Antofagasta to Viña del Mar = 1300 kms)
If yes, when do you think you will arrive there ?
If no, where you will stay in Santiago ?

Regards

Dear RGET ,
we were thoroughly amused to hear about the chance meeting of the mayor’s
son who did an “ Open sesame ” stunt for your accommodation which is the
stuff of fantasy that must have been influenced by the star dust that
dappled and speckled you when you observed the six spectacular spiral
galaxies at the ESO’s Very Large Telescope – Paranal Observatory in Chile .

We have to admit that your reports very often jump out of the page to
grab us with its sheer wonder , with all that has happened which accounts
for our faithful and fervent following .

So these deserts have more to offer than meets the eye and it must be the
clean air and probably the desert silence which brings you closer to the
universe which must be stunningly visible at night .
Maybe you should take it in turns to sleep at least once under the stars
as your roof .

On this star studded note we wish you all the very best from Ladysmith
( Kwazulu Natal ) in a cold howling windy corner of South Africa where
summer has been temporarily forgotten or lost , Charles and friends .
