Dear RGET ,
“ La Linea ” ( longest tunnel highway in South America built in
the central range of the Andes Mountains ) is another indication
of the road on which Colombia has embarked and is a testimony of
the drive to modernize it into a first world country .

Whether they are called autopista , autovia or doble calzade anyone
may immediately see the progress by looking at the photos and articles
which have been posted on various web sites about the various highways
and byways , which is really the secret to stimulating an economy by
opening up transport communication between the various center so that distribution of traffic and goods and rescue operations may be expedited promptly .

Your expedition has revealed some amazing opportunities that some
students from Ladysmith who are now studying engineering have intentions
to study Spanish instead of another language , which is compulsory ,
with the purpose of having the option to do a post graduate course in
Colombia and any other Spanish speaking country ( and there are many )
which offers them what they are looking for .

You cannot keep a good thing hidden for long which may have some draw
backs presenting another set of challenges which will deliver new
solutions given the fact that Columbians have already overcome oodles
of obstacles .

Thanx again , wishing you all the best with the transition into
Ecuador , from Ladysmith ( Kwazulu Natal ) in a long overdrawn
overcast corner of South Africa , Charles and friends .

Dear RGET ,
we are also besotted with Bogota and we have only read up about it ,
visited various web sites of some of their institutions and we are
bowled over at the dynamic direction they have embraced , striving
for world class excellence with a hospitable endearing smile .

Regarding the intermittent response at start up – do the INPUT and
related OUTPUT parameters correspond and are the monitored outputs
providing the correct data ?
Furthermore does altitude and temperature have any bearing ?

We wish you all the best with your trip though Ecuador , which seems
to have returned to order , from Ladysmith ( Kwazulu Natal ) in an
overcast corner of South Africa where we have had a little rain -
thank heavens and finally expecting more , Charles and friends .
