I'm not technical so don't listen to me, but maybe you should totally disconnect the batteries from everything when you ship it next time. Could you put some kind of temporary sealant on the battery terminals maybe? It sounds like a weird software thing, but then software is infuriating sometimes. Of course , it is not the best state of affairs when removing a Feature which could prove important when the battery cells start to age and since the cells have been subject to some harsh conditions , aging would be relative . We hope that your investigation will test this Feature and all its corresponding battery cells . We could not agree more with your statements about science and technology and we are rather impressed with some of the efforts exercised by the Central American countries , which do not feature much on our radar screen unless there has been a catastrophic .
