Dear RGET ,
are there no technical colleges or appropriate electrical
workshop in Cartagena that would be able to provide technical
assistance to accelerate the repairs ?
After all you are not only pioneering the EV ‘s future but
the technical support for the EV and maybe through the
right channels you could convince for an establishment
or franchise like “ Speedy’s Exhaust Center in South Africa ”
to come aboard the whole project and even give them some
sponsor status if possible , when you need to use their
premises or workshops . What about the AA which is
international ?

We hope the above response is useful for you !
We wish you all the best , from Ladysmith
( Kwazulu Natal ) in very hot South Africa ,
Charles and friends .

rock on gentlemen! --it's part of the adventure. there will be many more challenges, frustrations, and celebrations ahead. i hope claudio caught the expression on your faces when you discovered the van missing! glad you got it back. thanks for sharing the technical problems with the car, but i'm still curious what exactly caused the fire. did the fire occur while attempting to "boot up" the car, or while it was just sitting power down? is the fire problem related to the master board problem or a seperate issue? and finally, hats off for not "cheating" by towing to Medellin. happy troubleshooting, happy fixing, happy travels!
peace!
