Dear RGET ,
it would be interesting to establish how the fire started .
We have possible ideas . However , we have found in the past
that battery powered items which are put in storage for a
period must be completely disconnected from the battery
source and all battery terminals properly sealed with non
conductive gels to avoid any form of oxidation taking place ,
while connectors are also sealed with stoppers for the same
reason particularly at the coast , where the humidity and
the salt can play havoc .

We hold our breath that you can expedite the repairs
to restore the SRzero conveniently .

You have our confidence that you shall overcome this
technical delay .

This is not the time to panic
so summon the mechanic
to forestall the tragic
affair which could be basic .

Wishing you our fondest regards from Ladysmith
( Kwazulu Natal ) in sweltering sunny South Africa ,
Charles and friends .
