DearRGET ,
it brings tears of joy to us to be able to bear witness
to your amazing journey between Mexico and Guatemala .
The wonderful and generous treatment which you have
received is a testament of the human spirit which
recognizes the great cause that you are representing
and probably reinforces the path that the Guatemalan
engineering fraternity including those from other
countries in which you have already travelled .
We were impressed with the flexibility and versatility
which you have demonstrated when it was necessary to
recharge the SRzero as seen on some of the videos .
We would like to know though how the Lithium Iron
Phosphate battery pack can handle a sudden injection
of energy after being completely discharged , as we
found that Lead Acid batteries which we had used in
Solar Power Control Systems before Lithium Battery
Packs became viable , would “ dry out ” quicker if
subjected to high current charging .
We wish you all our fondest regards from Ladysmith
( Kwazulu Natal ) in sunny South Africa where many
people are rejoicing with beer , barbeque ( braai )
and bra after the Springboks who had lost five matches
at a trot in the Tri Nations , convincingly beat the
Wallabies yesterday , Charles and friends .
